A drawing-based trick for blood-relation puzzles in competitive and school aptitude tests, with two solved examples.
Blood-relation ke questions words mein dekhne par chaotic lagte hain, lekin jaise hi aap unhein DRAW kar lete hain, sab kuch super easy ho jata hai.
SYMBOLS TO USE (Family Tree Kaise Banayein)
• Use + for Male, - for Female.
• Married couples ke beech mein horizontal double arrow ( <-> ) kheincho.
• Vertical line ( | ) ka matlab hai 'Parent of' (aglee generation).
• Same generation ke logon ko ek hi horizontal row mein rakho.
EXAMPLE 1
Question: Pointing to a photo, Rahul said, "She is the daughter of my grandfather's only son." How is she related to Rahul?
Breakdown:
1. Grandfather ka 'only son' = Rahul ke Father.
2. Unki 'daughter' = Rahul ki Sister.
Answer: Sister.
EXAMPLE 2
Question: A is B's brother. C is A's mother. D is C's father. How is B related to D?
Draw Kaise Karein:
1. D (Parent) -> C
2. C is mother of A and B (A and B are siblings)
3. Toh D hue B ke Grandfather, aur B hua/hui D ka Grandchild (Grandson ya Granddaughter - kyunki B ka gender mention nahi hai).
Answer: Grandchild.
GOLDEN RULES
1) Name se gender mat guess karo - sirf question mein di gayi info par hi trust karo.
2) Sentence ko END se peeche ki taraf padho; exact relation wahan se fast decode hota hai.
3) 'Only son of my grandfather' ka matlab almost hamesha 'My father' hota hai.
Pro Tip: Har puzzle ko re-draw karke practice karo; ek week ke andar aap dimaag mein hi family tree picture karne lagoge!
