For the 2026–27 session, CBSE introduced Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence for Classes III–VIII, made “Computational Thinking & Understanding AI” its teacher-training theme, and is encouraging District-Level Deliberations and a National Teachers’ Conference on CT & AI. This is a real structural shift — not a passing trend. What most schools still don’t know is where they stand today and what to do first.
